This consultation is designed for returning clients who have previously completed an in-depth initial consultation with our Registered Nurse at Symmetry Cosmetic Clinic. If it has been less than 6 months since your last long consultation and you’re due for review, maintenance, or further aesthetic treatments, this is the ideal appointment to reassess and plan your next steps.
Your consultation includes a focused review of your previous treatments, current concerns, and any changes to your health or goals. Our nurse will re-evaluate your skin health, facial features, and areas of concern such as expression lines, facial volume, skin hydration, or overall texture and tone — always within the scope of AHPRA and TGA guidelines.
We provide evidence-based recommendations that align with your natural anatomy and preferences, with the goal of maintaining or enhancing results in a safe, ethical, and medically appropriate way.
In most cases, if you are medically suitable and a treatment plan has already been established, you may proceed with treatment on the same day. This consultation allows time for discussion, consent, and preparation, ensuring you feel informed and comfortable.

After your treatment, your nurse will provide specific aftercare tailored to the procedure you’ve had. General recommendations include:
Avoiding active skincare and excessive sun or heat exposure in the first 12–24 hours
Following all topical product and healing instructions carefully
Staying hydrated and avoiding strenuous exercise if advised
Contacting the clinic with any post-treatment concerns
Written or emailed aftercare instructions will be provided, and our team is always available for support.
Q: Who is this appointment for?
A: This consultation is for clients who have already completed a long consultation with our nurse within the last 6 months and are returning for review or follow-up treatment.
Q: Do I need to book another full consultation?
A: If your last comprehensive consultation was within 6 months and your health history hasn’t changed significantly, this shorter review appointment is usually sufficient. If more than 6 months have passed or your concerns have changed significantly, we may recommend a longer consultation.
Q: Can I receive treatment on the same day?
A: Yes, if you’re medically suitable and informed consent is provided, same-day treatment is often available.
Q: What if I’m not sure what I want done again?
A: No problem — this appointment includes a full review and discussion of what you’ve had previously, how results have evolved, and what options are available to maintain or adjust your treatment plan.
Q: Will I still receive aftercare guidance?
A: Yes. Every treatment includes thorough aftercare instructions to support your recovery and results. We also offer follow-up support if needed.
