Personalised Skin and Aesthetic Assessment at Symmetry Cosmetic Clinic, Long Jetty
At Symmetry Cosmetic Clinic, your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation with our experienced Registered Nurse. This appointment is designed for new clients seeking a tailored, professional assessment of their skin health and facial concerns. We take the time to understand your unique goals and provide education and guidance on clinically proven treatment options available within our clinic.
During this 30–45 minute consultation, we assess a range of concerns including the appearance of fine lines, changes in skin texture, hydration levels, facial volume, and other signs of ageing or skin imbalance. We take a holistic approach, always prioritising your safety, individual anatomy, and long-term results.
This is a no-pressure, informative appointment where your nurse will listen carefully to your concerns, take a full medical history, and conduct a detailed facial assessment. Based on this, you’ll receive personalised treatment recommendations tailored to your individual skin condition, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences.
If you are a suitable candidate for any of the treatments discussed and have provided informed consent, it may be possible to proceed with treatment on the same day. Your nurse will explain all relevant options, expected outcomes, risks, and recovery times. We uphold the highest ethical standards and only proceed with treatments if you feel confident, informed, and ready.
Please arrive with clean skin (free of makeup if possible).
Bring a list of current medications or relevant medical history.
Allow time for a thorough discussion and possible treatment on the day.
Following any aesthetic treatment, your nurse will provide detailed aftercare instructions tailored to the procedure you’ve received. In general, we recommend:
Avoiding makeup, active skincare, and sun exposure for a specified time
Avoiding strenuous exercise or heat (e.g. saunas) immediately after some treatments
Following hydration, healing, or topical care as directed
Reporting any concerns or unexpected changes to the clinic promptly
You’ll also receive written or emailed aftercare information, and we’re available for follow-up support at any stage of your recovery.
